Amy & Jim - A Gorgeous Handmade Wedding

After a very well earned rest, it's good to get back to my first wedding of the year. And what better way to start than to photograph these two beautiful souls! Amy and Jim are a truly awesome couple. Not only are they absolutely gorgeous, they are also two of the most happiest, friendliest people you are likely to meet.

The morning started with a very relaxed bridal preparation where I was literally met with open arms.
The ceremony took place in St. Andrew's Church in Alfriston, followed buy a fantastic DIY reception at Alfriston War Memorial Hall. Every single detail was handmade by a family member - the cakes, the bunting and most importantly....the dress. Made by Jim's Mum, the dress took a painstaking 300 hours over 3 months to make. But all that amazing effort definitely paid off, as it's one of the most beautiful dresses I've seen. To top all of that, I had the company of my good lady in the evening to help with some photobooth action.

This wedding absolutely rocked as did Mr & Mrs Hardwick!!!

  1. Ahhhh lovely photos Andy. So nice that all the details were made by family members, what a talented family! The dress is amazing. Did they make the flower girls' dresses too - they look adorable. Loving the flowers and the groom's tie too.

  2. That less formal atmosphere will help you gain some confidence and poise as you and your soon-to-be spouse learn how to work efficiently with your photographer.
