Having come back from Cuba with a fresh bag of ideas, I offered to take my best friends out for the day to celebrate their engagement. We went for a beautiful walk in Henfield followed by a gorgeous pub lunch. I remember feeling very anxious before I met them. Apart from Ava and Emily, I’d never really photographed anyone before. I had no plan, I had no shots in my head, I'd never been to Henfield before. All my nerves and anxieties dispersed as soon as I got the camera out, it just all felt natural. I really needed that shoot just to confirm that I did in fact know what I was doing. It was another major milestone on my little path……
